This month has been one big celebration of joy. Over the past few weeks I've had the privilege of asking one simple question:
What brings you joy?
The response has been incredible. More than 300 pieces of community artwork were created, each filled with colours, memories, ideas and personal moments. Together, they inspired the final Moments of Joy artworks that I have been creating for our shared spaces across Abingdon.
As I looked through every drawing and conversation, beautiful themes began to emerge. Some were expected, nature, family and colour but others were wonderfully surprising. It was a reminder that joy isn't always found in the big moments. Often, it's tucked away in the everyday things we might otherwise overlook.
This journal celebrates that journey, the people behind it, and the creativity that has brought it all to life. Whether you created alongside us, shared an idea or simply followed the story, thank you for being part of it.
