PUBLIC ART & CREATIVE PROJECTS
Transforming everyday spaces through public art and creative collaboration.
Led by artist Jess Farrell, each project is developed in collaboration with the people connected to it, bringing together shared ideas, stories and creativity. Working across public art and creative projects, the outcome is meaningful work that adds colour, identity and a lasting sense of connection to a space or community.
Carousel Family Centre Mural
Co-Created Public Artwork
A large-scale mural co-designed with over 80 members of the local community, transforming the space into a vibrant, welcoming environment rooted in nature and imagination.
Developed through hands-on creative sessions, the mural brings together ideas, drawings and contributions from children, young people and families, shaping a piece that reflects the identity of the space and the people within it.
The result is a permanent artwork that adds colour, warmth and a strong sense of belonging, creating a space people recognise as their own.
Moments of Joy
A live, evolving public art series
A growing series of small and large-scale public artworks designed to bring unexpected moments of colour, playfulness and connection into everyday spaces.
Placed in overlooked or transitional areas, each piece is created to shift how a space feels, offering something light, surprising and quietly meaningful within the flow of daily life.
Moments of Joy is an evolving body of work, with new pieces being developed and placed across local spaces.
